2nd European Synapse Meeting

The 2ndEuropean Synapse Meeting is organized by the EC-funded research project EUSynapse . The aim of the meeting is to bring together junior and senior neuroscientists working on synapses and to provide a forum for new directions and ideas in synapse research.
The meeting welcomes participation from all neuroscientists within and outside the EU. It will combine research lectures by leading neuroscientists from Europe and the US with poster sessions and short talks intended to encourage lively discussions and the free exchange of information and ideas.



The conference will be held at the newly renovated conference center of the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry (picture) in Göttingen.

Göttingen is situated in the geographical centre of Germany and is easily accessible by

Financial contribution

The conference fee is 200 € and includes participation, coffee breaks, lunches, a dinner, a reception and the "Get-Together" at Tuesday evening (10th November 2009). Payment has to be made after registration by credit-card (only available until October 10) or bank transfer.
We offer a discount for studens of 40 €.
